for the swimmers

i’ve been going swimming and i wear a swimming cap… but water somehow still manages to get inside… and not just a bit of water but my whole head gets wet!! what am i doing wrong .. i dont want chlorine messing my hair cuz i swim everyday… ajeeb museebath hai bhai…

and no its not loose.. the cap is very tight… cheap brand bhi nahi hai… its by speedo… so what is up !!

change your head(swinning cap) and see if that makes any difference.

khawa, The next time you go to the store, ask the person working there how to properly wear it. Explain your dilemma, perhaps they can assist you better.

No swimming cap will keep your hair completely dry. Swim caps are used mostly to keep the drainage from being clogged with hair, and for aerodynamics in the water.

it does not work with long hair…that’s why i stopped going to the swimming pool after my hair got totally damaged:bummer:

:( ... sighz... maybe that's the prob... but i dont have long hair... shoulder length... i think im gonna do diff strokes and see which gets the water in.. im pretty sure its the dumbass butterly! with all that jumping around in the water... and backstroke...

maybe i should stick to breast stroke

butterfly? man I have broad shoulders and I still dont do butterfly. Even with breast stroke your head will go under water, so it wont work. Like Fret said, it is more for reduced friction against water to increase speed than to protect hair. Best thing to do is to jump in the pool with oil in our hair, I do it

ash.. i did do that..lekin if u swim everyday.. and put oil everyday.. and work.. god that means shampooing everyday!! .. hey raam.. why is attaining husn so hard! ..

the only reason i think i can do butterfly with ease is cuz ive been doing since i was in grade 5 all the way upto grade 10... :p they pushed u so hard... u would reach a point where u could do it forever and not even notice what u were doing :D

LOL that is correct. It s just to eliminate the drag :D
So nothing will keep your hair dry.
