For the men

How many things for you should be ticked when deciding to marry? The list: (you can add or subtract acc. to your preference)

Muslim
Pakistani-origin
education
height
Good cooking skills etc. (whatever skill/s would be absolutely necessary?)
good family background (to assure she has a good character and morals etc etc)
beauty; you find her attractive in appearance
possible family setup she would be comfortable living in (single unit or joint)
Conservative/ moderate/ liberal (acc. to your preference i.e she wants to work/ has a career etc.)
Traits that she has to have

How many and which of these need to be absolutely ticked for you to seriously consider marrying her?

Re: For the men

*ALL of them! :D

Re: For the men

Hypothetically speaking of course,
Muslim
education at least a high school graduate or equivalent
good family background (to assure she has a good character and morals etc etc)
beauty; you find her attractive in appearance
possible family setup she would be comfortable living in (single unit or joint)
Conservative/ moderate/ liberal (acc. to your preference i.e she wants to work/ has a career etc.) I would want someone who will give priority to being there for the kids when they arrive, so work is ok until they come, but not after.
Traits that she has to have Can accept me as is and vice versa

Re: For the men

Pakwomen are you sure you are not Rishta karaney wali aunty? :khums:

Re: For the men

Re: For the men

i think she is in the rishta process :@:

Re: For the men

the ability to make round chappatiz... nothing else matters.

Re: For the men

^ You do know that chappatis come frozen or fresh at desi stores now. She could trick you into believing she's made them herself, when in fact she bought them.

And for any of the oldtimers, what was that song from waaaaaaaaaay back when? I'm thinking Sajjid Ali and something about "rotiyan banaygi" and then he says: "Chal jhooti" :D

Re: For the men

Important things
education (higher the better, but at least high school grad.)
height (as long as shes shorter than me, and taller than 4ft 10., optimal range is between 5'3 and 5'8)
beauty; you find her attractive in appearance (most important thing on the list)
possible family setup she would be comfortable living in (single unit or joint) (living separate from larger family is important)
Conservative/ moderate/ *liberal *(acc. to your preference i.e she wants to work/ has a career etc.) (this is very important)
Traits that she has to have

Not Important
Muslim
Pakistani-origin
Good cooking skills etc. (whatever skill/s would be absolutely necessary?)
good family background (to assure she has a good character and morals etc etc)

Re: For the men

Let's see.
Muslim and Pakistani origin of course (first language has to be Urdu, I don't want to talk to my wife in English all the time).
Education: Professional level (university or otherwise)
Height: Not really a problem, I don't mind either way but I always tend to fall for the shorter, petite girls :D
Beauty: Hell yeah. Doesn't have to be a supermodel but should be able to turn me on.
Cooking: Yeah, sure.
Family background: Similar...educated, conservative.
Family setup: Should be comfortable with both setups, joint and single.
Other traits: Similar sense of humour, good taste in movies and books, isn't vain and shallow.

In the end though, I think I will settle for anyone who's hot and makes a mean sammich.

Re: For the men

For me only beauty, little bit of intelligence and moderate to liberal values matter the most.

I'll give more importance to upbringing than college education. Family background doesn't necessarily mean she has a good character.
Cooking can be learned later on, height should be less than mine but not too short.
Being Muslim/Pakistani doesn't matter (I'd prefer a non-Pakistani).

Man I'm such a day dreamer!

Re: For the men

^ c’mon CM that’s getting old now :vivo: Let’s hear what CM’s really looking for in a ‘wife’
You can’t put on a bad boy face forever :faizy:

Re: For the men

It’s been ages actually :bummer:
but thanx

Re: For the men

LOL! Who says I am a bad boy. I am most certainly am not. I am a momma's boy. That is the honest truth :D

If you want an honest answer so here it is:

Muslim
Pakistani-origin
education- A masters at minimum.

height
Good cooking skills etc. (whatever skill/s would be absolutely necessary?) - I cook and getting better day by day so she doesn't need to know how to cook.
good family background (to assure she has a good character and morals etc etc)
beauty; you find her attractive in appearance
possible family setup she would be comfortable living in (single unit or joint)
Conservative/ moderate/ liberal (acc. to your preference i.e she wants to work/ has a career etc.) - As long as we get along and respect each other I do not care about this.
Traits that she has to have: The ability to be logical and constructive. I hate women who get emotional and then its all your fault because they are upset. Abay your cat died. I was at work. How is that my fault????
