its not the excerisize its the diet which will increase ur mass. excerisize will just keep it toned and in shape. if u wana get big change ur eating habbits, increase ur intakes. increase protein and carbon hydrates that should solve ur prob.
The answer is too big to put in a concise nutshell, but I'll give it a shot;
1) Weight based resistance training is the best way. Stay away from cardio-vasuclar exercises, they don't help as much with building musscle mass.
2) Make sure you warm up with plenty of stretching. Don't over work your body. Pick your exercises carefully. Try to do three sets of 6-12 reps each. One warm up set, and the remaining two to breaking point. i.e you should use enough weight that you can just about manage to to 6-12 reps for your last two sets. Leave about 3 minutes between sets, no longer. Try to give your self a day's break between exercises.
3) Take little sips during your exercises. Drink something with a high sugar content, I prefer pure grape juice. Within an hour of your work out, take a high-protein meal. I prefer to cook a huge steak. On exercise days, you should aim to take about 200 - 250 grams of protein if you were my size (about 85 KG). If you small portions frequently, you will increase your metabolism and decrease your fat gain. On my non-exercise days, I aim for 180 grams and make up the rest of my calories with carbs, to try to regain the energy I lost. If handled properly, carbs = energy, protein = musscle growth.
4) Take your vitamins. Make sure you get enough amino acids. Drink plenty of water and stay away from excessive junk food.
There is much more to body-building than this, but it covers most of the basics. I find that these rules work great for me.
low weights + high repititions = toning
higher weights (don't push it too much) + lower reps = mass
If you really wanna bulk up find a GNC or other such store and stock up on the buckets of ____ (there's dozens of em nowadays, just ask they love talking).. gotta work out on that stuff otherwise you'll just get chunky. I don't mess with any of it though.. I know it's natural ingredients, but it's not natural.
lakin a word of warning i started when i was i think 15 and i pushed really heavy weights and now i have joint problems specially in my wrist, finger and elbow joints i stopped i think abtou 2 years ago .. i am nearly 19 now
How big a person can get
has to do with their natural
physique also sometimes. But watch out, getting
too big can result in the form of Arnold or China.
Serious repercussions may arise in the form of some
or complete loss of brain cells.
