Recently I have come across some of the veterans of the Vietnam war. These people carry the risiduals of traumas of the war just like most veterans do. However, one thing is for certain, that some very bad things happened during Vietnam war. It is as if these veterans are carrying a burden of sin on their shoulders; something that to this day they are reluctant to discuss. Similar situation is probably happening in Iraq, because Iraqi veteran are returning in similar state. War crimes can be hurrendous. And, I was surprised to read a book recently. It named “Four Blind Mice”; and is written by James Patterson. This book takes the very fact of war crimes and molds in to a nice story. Well, the narrative could use some work; though the story overall is pretty good. I think Pakistan needs to find talented individuals like James Patterson. Pakistan needs to focus on individuals who hoan in on opportunities and take traumatic events affecting people’s life to bring to public’s attention. However, I think so much talent is just wasted in Pakistan. With the number of terrorist activities that are happening in Pakistan, it is no wonder that Pakistan can hardly focus on anything else. When can Pakistan finally find some peace and start working on it’s developement.
