For parents and relatives of Atypical Children

I just have to share. Watch the movie “Temple G*****n”.

Temple G*****n is a real person and the movie is about her life and accomplishments and about living with Autism. She is an extremely accomplished individual and the movie is just awesome. Born in 1947 when autism was considered to be a diagnosis calling for institutionalization, its truly amazing that she went on to earn her doctorate and then to become a world-reknowned and well respected expert on the cattle industry.

The insight you get from the movie about how it is and how it feels to live as a neurologically “atypical” person is extremely enlightening. It shows us more about how life feels to a neuroligically different person and can really help you understand the motivations behind some of the atypical behaviors.

If you have an atypical child, if you know one, dont miss this movie!

I saw Claire Danes talking about this on The Colbert Report. Looks really interesting!
