i think what was important was harbhajan's half century (india was 98/5 in morning), not bad considering that he was no. 11, not so long ago. if we have baiji a good lower order bat, if not an allrounder, that would be nice. dighe again dropped a catch, but is a gutsy guy.
things are better after the doubtful elements, mongia, azhar, jaddu are out of team.
Doubtful or not... Nayan Mongia is a lot better than Samir Dighe in every apect of Wicket Keeping .Mongia is a much better batsman too. I fail to understand the decisions of our sharp-toothed selectors..... like Mohinder Amarnath said - "They are a bunch of Jokers".

not being doubtful is important. corrupt is worse than incompetent. it spoils the team's urge to fight. bowler can pardon a dropped catch and try hard but it is tough for bowler when he suspects that keeper is paid for dropping catches. in any case, when was last time mongia showed anything with bat? we could try dahiya, if u dont like dighe or even young ratra.
Has Mongia's involvement in match-fixing been proved !! I dont think so...
Dahiya isn't a great alternative either.I have not watched Ratra though.
