For men!

It is quite common that only women are told to cover their heads, wear hijaab, (which they should) do this, do that …but men are mostly not told much. I fell like putting this in every main street of Pakistan. We know how some men, unfortunately stare at women and just keep on staring making the women feel uncomfortable.

Allaah, the Exalted said,

“Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their private parts; that will make for greater purity for them. Indeed Allaah is well acquainted with all that they do.” [an-Nur (24):30]

**Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 8.248, Narrated Abu Said Al Khudri Similar narration in Sahih Muslim **

The Prophet said, “Beware! Avoid sitting on the roads.” They (the people) said, “O Allah’s Apostle! We can’t help sitting (on the roads) as these are (our places) where we have talks.” The Prophet said, “If you refuse but to sit, then pay the road its right.” They said, “What is the right of the road, O Allah’s Apostle?” He said, “Lowering your gaze, refraining from harming others, returning greeting, and enjoining what is good, and forbidding what is evil.”

**Hadith - Sahih Muslim 5372, Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah **
I asked Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) about the sudden glance (that is cast) on the face (of a non-Mahram). He commanded me that I should turn away my eyes.

We know how some women, unfortunately dress unsuitably and just keep on dressing like that making the men feel uncomfortable. :rotato:

the point being i dont usually see men staring at hijabED women.

however, i must agree with your post :flower1:

I've had to hit one of my friends round the head for doing just that.

Go to a western country and see how many non muslim men AND women staring at 'hijabed' women. Agreed that they might not be looking at them in a lustful way but in other ways.

AND,
if they do not (OBEY their men and don their Hijab - for example)?

If a women disobeys - "men are allowed to PUNISH and SCOURGE the women and set their beds apart " Holy Quran

If that be the case or " men be humble and CONTROL their urge "then there is no need for the hijab, nikab or ridda or veil.

*But then they also need a HIJAB for the women's VOICE! *

Dear Islamabad,
May Islam be made abad (free) of militants like you!

I think i was pretty clear in what looks we are discussing here. as for the other ways, i guess they are not 'wrong' looks which settles it. btw, are you in a "western" country?

hafeez123: hijab is a very positive aspect of islam. and you know the benefits yourself, then why even prolong the discussion? afaik, if the husband or even the parents hinder a woman's practice, she has every right to leave them. the disobedience issue is when the woman does not follow any legitimate instruction of her husband (which includes offering salat, wearing hijab and a lot more). though i dont know islamabad but i wonder whats so militant about this post?

From most of his posts hafeez123 seems like a kafir hiding behind a Muslim nick. There are quite a few people like him on here, constantly mocking Islam, people like him remind me of the Quranic verse "...Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their hearts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât if you understand." [The holy Quran 3:118]

Ameen :k:

I have a few simple words for you! No discussion about Islam with Ahmedis or non-Muslims!

Re: Re: Re: For men!

Dear Islamabad,

Afraid of me, aren't you?
You should be!

TELL ME:
Is what I have written false?

There are books written on how to PUNISH or BEAT women the correct way of the sharia!

And, HIJAB for the voice:
The women cannot be seen except in their tent (burqa), hijab, nikab et al and not talk to or mix with ne-mehrami menfolks. But, still has to make sure her voice is kept low so as not to excite the menfolks.

muslimas - Cannot be seen or be heard.
This has to be the lofty status that you talk about!

I am not afraid of anyone except Allah! What are you???? I am 100% sure and confident about being Muslim (Alhamdulilah) and rightly so!!!You have a spec in your eye! You are the misguided one! You are afraid of the truth. Admit it!

Sharia is 100% correct. The whole world and its earthly laws are wrong, but Sharia is the divine law. It is free from errors and perfect. It is from the ONE who created you and me.

Shame on you for quoting verses like that! First tell me the exact verse, and then tell me the whole verse in context! I will answer you , with the Grace of Allah, all your false allegations. Now go ahead and open the Quran, If you have one and then quote, instead of just hearing from somewhere and posting it here. Little knowledge is dangerous!

Mr Hafeez, I merely asked you a question to a point you made, I was not reffering to islamabad's post. Which the answer is a simple yes or no.

Mr rally

I am not interested in platitudes of what I think and what you think.

dear Islamabad,
had enuf time to do research into the greatest & the most perfect Divine Law:
1) Beating/Punishment for the Disobedient wife/wives
2) Hijab for the Female Voice ?
Did you learn something in the process?

Then, it was WORTH it!
