I think that is usually true. Also usully Husband has to be richer and more succesful/educated than the wife.
So What is Funny ..Young Lady…laugh all you want..I can quote hundreds of examples…not just movie stars but real life situations…

for a successful marriage, bride should be compromising and flexible in nature, because atlast, she is the one who has to change and adjust herself in the new family, not will EVERY member be changed for her... :)

In theory, it sounds right. I mean if the guy is not so great looking and has a beautiful wife, he's not gonna look elsewhere... I mean he has the best thing at home anyway... so he'll always feel as though his wife is a great prize and treat her as such. But then what about the women? They could end up thinking they're too good for their husbands, no?

I don't think this is true at all. It can work both ways, its a matter of both the husband and wife being mature and understanding. I can think of a lot of couples i know where the guy is so much better looking than the wonem, but if its a healthy marriage, looks dont even come into it :)

in my experiance i have seen guys get married to preety innocent girls and still mess about with other girls…
this threads title is just all wrong for a Marriage to survive both husband and wife have to work at it, other wise it’s like a chore and neither will be happy…
