I’ve noticed a few posts on here where women are stating how they want to lose the ‘fat’ from their lower abdomen, because even after working out and losing weight, their abdomens still stick out slightly. I want to mention that all women, regardless of being thin or overweight, have abdomens that stick out because there are organs there, and it’s edited out of photos of models and celebrities. In females, those organs include our uterus, Fallopian tubes, and digestive tract.
Different parts of the body look different when the body is in different positions, especially when you may sit or bend over and get rolls. That’s meant to happen, too, and again, the magazines and photos edit it out from the models. No matter your body type or shape, it’s completely normal and healthy to have a protruding lower belly, there is nothing wrong with you.
^I wouldn't say ALL women do.. I know girls with completely flat stomachs.. It's just very common to gain weight in that area as you get older..
That's true, and of course there are exceptions (especially as you get older), though tummies don't look flat all the time, even with girls who do have completely flat stomachs (such as myself), the abdomen still sticks out. It's most noticeable after I eat something or sit down or lie on my side.
I have the same issue, maybe my work involves me sitting all day thats why, but I have literally found out that using simple green tea helps you digest better, that makes you feel lighter, and the good thing is that you feel better also.
Exercises that are best suitable for this issue are
cycling while laying down
morning walk
