At what age did you guys start taking your kids to the dentist?
I’m also wondering if I should just take my daughter to my dentist (who’s a family dentist but her office is not at all child friendly)… or I should go to a pediatric dentist who has a child-friendly office.
She’s 4-1/2 and everyone tells me I should have taken to the dentist earlier, but I’m such a coward… I just couldn’t

whoa.. thats a bit late .... or maybe its just the country i live in.. as soon as the kid gets teeth, they are meant to be in teh dentists office.. so my son was on the table at 6 months... its really important to know ure childrens teeth are healthy.
my son's dentist is a regular one.. not a ped dentist.. such a gentle soul... and her office is equipped with childish things so its inviting.
dont be afraid.. take her soon... its better to have things up to date rather than go in and find out something is wrong and has to be fixed. regular dental check ups are so well worth it!

^Being late is my fault, I was told by my pediatrician to take her to the dentist when she turned 2, but I was too much of a chicken as I hate dentist visits myself.

at first i went to my dentist and she looked also about my son. but when he turned 3 i started to go to the pediatric dentist...
