Re: For job seekers in UAE

I am a person bred and brought up in UAE. Graduated from Dubai.. two years have passed I am still working odd jobs and trying to clear CFA exams. I am depressed considering I haventvhad decent head start in my career.
Let me be blunt about it finding a job here is next to impossible especially if you are seeking entry level jobs. The Emiratis dominate the job market with the government leaning to induct more of them in the workforce whether they actually do the job or not. Racism is prevalent and you will be assumed to be one of the inferior races.
Schools...GEM schools are the best but the fees are high.
Finding a job is clearly more difficult in Abu Dhabi as compared to Dubai. And you should have certain amount of cash on hand if you are coming from Pakistan.Food and lodgings are expensive.
Try to apply through career websites like Bayt.com and Dubbizle.
One avenue which I have yet to try is to avail the career placement services of recruitment agencies here.
City wise the most cheapest I guess is Sharjah followed by Dubai then Abu Dhabi
