hey :slight_smile:

first of all girls getting married this year.. if ure living in dubai, it would be a good idea to form a group so we could discuss plan shop and diet together? lol

secondly, im looking for wedding footwear, hubby to be is a foot taller than me so i need to find really biggg heelss.. i liked one in DUNE.. but they dont have my size.. there is one in Batuta mall - Rossini - but that isnt my first choice.

so if u guys know of good places where i can find 4 inch heels for wedding i would love to know or i would either settle with the one in Rossini or look for it in Pakistan :slight_smile:

in mercato there is a shop i dont remember the name......just below the cinema they have good fancy high heel shoes u can check there i l check the name of shop on this weeknd n let u knw.....

there's a lot of areas where you can get high heels, especially the shops in the Malls

I've been mulling over the idea of getting married in Dubai, can anyone suggest nice venues and places to buy a nice gown (prob one ceremony is going to be european style with a big white/cream dress and the other totally desi)..

If I went with that idea would it make more sense to buy all the stuff over there rather than in the UK?

^ arab women also wear white gowns but i find theirs are really OTT and gaudy sometimes, or completely risqué with sheer busts and low backs for their ladies-only parties. so i'd say get all the stuff for the european ceremony in the UK. the desi stuff you can hop over to pakistan for.

I somewhat agree with SGC but I have seen some really good arabic white gowns too. Especially at the posh emirati weddings.

Also Christian Louboutin and Guiseppe Zanotti have great formal designs - check Harvey Nichols in Mall of the Emirates

Paris Gallery in Festival City also has a great shoe section

I absoutely loveee the shoes in Rossini....very pretty stone studded shoes
and there anre many branches of Rossini in Dubai
I isually buy them from the shop in front of Lamcy Plaza and there is another one in Sahara mall
