Seminar: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will host a seminar about interfaith relations Feb. 11 at Portland State University. Titled “Living With Islam: Conflict or Coexistence?” the free event will be at 2 p.m. in room 228 of the Smith Memorial Student Union Multicultural Center, 1825 S.W. Broadway.

Discussion topics include: the responsibilities of Muslims in a non-Islamic society, the rights of non-Muslims in an Islamic society, and the manner in which Muslims should live with people of other faiths internationally according to Islamic teachings. Representatives from local law enforcement also will speak on relations with the local Muslim community. A complimentary dinner will be served.
