Do you think it is a good idea to have a ‘thread of the week’ and a ‘post of the week’? We can have one thread which members will update and post their choices of thread and post of the week. The criteria of a thread and post nomination could simply be that members pick a thread(s) and post(s) depending upon which thread(s) and post(s) they personally liked best. One other option, if we run this, could be that out of all the posts (or threads) that are selected as potential winners, if there is a large number, we can select from a poll which will include those choices which members picked. Keeping the criteria simple yet transparent would keep everyone in the game.
The significance of this would be to keep the interest alive. Every week members will nominate a thread and a post of the week, if we go ahead with this step.
