i remember when i had my XT 086 computer with only 20mb hard drive...soo if i ever wanted another 20 meg hard drive back in days..it wouldve sucked :p
My first computer had only a 120M HD and I thought it was so much.
My First Computer had no HD 
And.. I used to BOOT it with 5.25DD Floppy.
Why.. 5.25 DD Coz… The Drive was for DD and 5.25HD was not Supported

I believe theres been countless threads on the lines of 'my first computer didnt even have this!' etc.
In my case it was just a cpu, two floppy drives and a monitor. No cdrom, no mouse, no sound, no hard drive, no usb. And the video card was CGA which was the worst of the three i.e. CGA, EGA, VGA <-- the king of video cards.
Same here and the funny thing is I had blank n white and a monochrome monitor with just one color. Green that is. The most popular CGA card back in mid 80s was Hercules graphics.
And yes Chess Master 2000 was the first 3D graphical game 
When we used to switch Chess Master view from 2D to 3D, we were like riding a space shuttle or something. Karateka and Pro Soccer were other great PC games back then :k:
