Agree with Sehrysh. Why is cooking such a big issue...........for some men? It's great that you cook for yourself 99% of the time. The issue here is not....cooking. It's more about sharing responsibiliities. If your wife works....it will not kill you to help her out with the cooking. Even if your wife didn't work.....there could be days that she's ill or something comes up and she can't cook....or perhaps just got lazy (it happens to the best of us)..........and you could help her out.

I get that you're imparting your "wisdom" about men to us clueless sexual and "asexual" women. But...........from an Islamic perspective.......the Prophet SAWS was a man........and did his chores around the house......and some of those chores (such as mending clothes) are considered "feminine" by society. But when such an example is put forth..........it's brushed off with excuses and notions about gender roles created by desi society.

Reminds me of some aunties who so proudly tells others that their sons don't even get a glass of water for themselves because the DAUGHTER does/fetches everything.
