Refer to bold #1: We ain’t talkin about your immediate sister here…then one you share parents/or parent with. We’re talking about more distant…sisters. Surely, we think that many of you men are ABOVE that.
Refer to bold # 2: The word “assexual” means A) having no sex organs or being independent of sexual processes…or…B) being free from or unaffected by sexuality.
Now it’s perfectly jayaz/legititmate according to Islam to marry your cousin. However…even if you’re not inclined towards that…or even if the female cousin has failed to meet your standards of beauty…most of them are sexual beings with the appropriate necessary organs…and are not free from sexuality or sexual feelings (even if that doesn’t include YOU). You could say that YOU or some men might not be sexually attracted to this particular group of women…but it’s unreasonable to lable your female cousins as “asexual.”
Female cousins are not seen as women? Yikes. Why are they treated as such then? And what about those men who do have a thing for a cousin and end up marrying one? You better hurry and warn them…they may not be aware that they’ve married a being that is not a female or a woman. Once again…they’re still women…even if you’re not attracted to them. They just may not be seen in a romantic/sexual sense by ALL men. To so boldly say that “theyr’e not seen as women”…is unreasonable.
