Footwear of different regions.

Is not that amazing that we have so many types of footwear in indopak? I doubt that any other region in the world has so many different types.

Starting from Do Patti (also known as Hawai Chappal), we have saleem shahi, khoosay, kolapoori, kahRaaon and maybe more. I am sure I am missing many.

What factors determine the kind of footwear a society would adopt? I am sure that material needs to be locally available, then it should be climate friendly design. What else?

Re: Footwear of different regions.

Re: Footwear of different regions.
