Brazil, Argentina and Spain. I tip another S. American team to make the semi atleast. African teams to do better, European teams will get hammered.

I like the Dutch, but anytime Robin Van Persie plays I lose my goodwill!
Japan should do decent, they have a very talented bunch. Though Utd have ruined Kagawa IMO

Im not too football savvy but from what ive heard and read, Spain are favorites. Whoever reckons they wont win might receive a nasty shock lol
Germany and Japan play with such intensity. its always extremely entertaining to watch either team compete.
Despite being aussie and loving the "soccer"oos I dont think we will get too far

I think you guys always get unlucky with the group seedings, otherwise Aus always puts up a very decent fight unlike England. I would be surprised if England can overcome Italy and Uruguay and even make it out of the group. The Germans are machines. They've reached most semis and a few finals the last few decades and have some very good players. I'd like to see some African teams play well too, Ivory Coast are very good but have an absolutely nightmare group.
I'm putting Belgium down as the dark horses of the tournament. Brazil, Argentina Spain and Germany are favourites. Italys squad is starting to age and Frances internal power struggles is what let's them down in the end. England have a good mix of experience and youth and I think they are gonna surprise a lot of people. There seems to be a boom of young talent in this country.

Decent call, but Belgium always fail to flatter. With England depends on how Hodgson sets them up. If it is like it was vs Italy then England will get hammered.

You guys need a win vs Chile as I see the matches against the Dutch and Spain very difficult. If Aus get a win vs Chile and snatch a draw against the other two they have a massive chance to progress!

Muzna you already picked the three best choices, add Argentina to the mix though as well. I would consider them second favorites after Brazil.
