England are just a crappy and overhyped football team at international level and I have been saying this for a while based on their performances in World and European Cups over the past two decades.

England's major weakness IMO is their inability to score goals at international level. They lack quality strikers and goal-scorers. Having one decent forward is simply not good enough at this level. There was simply no rhythm or flow to their game.

Just proves that there is daylight b/w Premiership and International Football just like there is between County and Test Cricket

England are no serious contenders for this World Cup

And trust me Slovenia won't be a walk in the park next Wednesday. They are better than Algeria

Brazil (not sure about the current lot though) and Argentina play football the way it should be played....deft dribbling, short passes, more field goals

How Heskey as accumalated 50+ caps is beyond me, he can't kick a football fullstop.

For any other country he would have been dropped a decade ago.
