Well It’s sad to see that a team that never dominated the Game won this against Mexico. But then if a team can’t score goals then you are not to qualify for the next round.

A good game especially during the second half. Brazil looks like unstoppable.
Brazil won the game even without magic and the sad thing was that Wilmots Goal was disallowed.....and it continues.

Hoping for Turkey and Korea to win tomorrow, even though Korea will have a tough time beating Italy, but stranger things have happened in this world cup.
It was a sad moment to see Ireland out, as they had the biggest support in the tournament.
Although, my joy is that Raul is finally going closer to the World Cup. Besides a Italy vs. Spain Quarter would be fun to see.
You know what’s bothering me a lot is the fact that in each match, there is these Korean/Japanese fans, passionately cheering for EVERY country, be it Paraguay, Germany, Ireland, Turkey, etc.
They even do celebrations, paint their face/bodies, dress up all crazy, and chant/sing. It’s like they are die hard “Italians, English, Swedish, etc..”
Me think.. it’s all set up like that, since it’s too expensive to travel to Korea/Japan.

well Brazil is my fav.. but love to see Senegal win the World cup .. realisticly I think England and Germens are the strongest team in the tournament .. I would say Germens 40% England 30% Brazil 20% and Senegal 10%

Hey Mr. The Game...remember Munich last year? Germany 1 - England 5 (and it wasn't that long ago either).
I am a firm believer that a team with a strong Defence stands more chances of winning games. England's defence has finally clicked and Rio Ferdinand is playing out of his skin. England has only conceeded 1 goal in 4 matches so far. The qtr final against Brazil will be a real test for England, but England will triumph (no need for extra time or penalties). Brazil has been leaking goals at the back and with the speed of Owen and Beckhams free kicks this game will surprise a lot of people. Looks like we are heading for a repeat of 1966 final.

Game your are so true, everyone are keep counting out Germany, England's one win over Germany doesn't prove anything, Senegal defeated France but doesn't make Senegal come any closer to being as good as France.
Germany certainly lack a dominant attack but overall they are one of the top teams in the cup.
Next match for Germany is against United States, if US are not lucky like their previous games, Germany should easily win.
England vs Brazil should be the best match of the tournament so far.

Umair, though your point is fair, I see the current England team as being even stronger than the one that tore apart the Germans last year. If the Germans are to get to the final, then they will have had to have endured a difficult and possibly greulling Semi-Final against Spain or Italy (possibly going through extra time and penalty shoot out). Whereas England's Semi will have been against Japan/Turkey/Senegal. Looks like Englands name is on the trophy.

True, but before reaching semis, England will have to face Brazil, if they can beat Brazil than in my mind they will be the world champions, no matter they loose in semis or finals and i do think England is much stronger than Germany.
