What a dramatic Finish. Amazing match and the most thrilling match so far. Just great. I loved the fighting spirit of The IRISH they surely won some hearts, but unfortunately lost the match.

Don't forget the Spaniard who fouled in the box in the first place, what an idiot!
Both Senegal and Spain should have won in the regular time.
The 1st goal which was scored from Senegal, not counted should have certainly counted, the player was not offside at all, he was right along the swedish player.
Offside is given when the player who is reciving the ball is in the front of his opposition before the ball is passed or kicked to him not after the ball is kicked or passed.

very true.Senegal was robbed of first goal.Guy was not offside.
hmm interesting. Here in Canada, it’s TSN that is using FIFA coverage to show the live football matches and for some reason the camera either wasn’t at the proper angle to see whether that guy was offside and panned away quickly. They didn’t provide slo-mo coverage later nor did the BBC dude narrator mention it

I took it for granted that he must have been offside although I was screaming with happiness when Senegal scored that 1st goal. Maybe his standing right next to the Swedish player confused the linesman, I am not certain:-/ At least they won despite it Masha’Allah, although they had to put up a drawn-out struggle. Hopefully they will be rested well for their upcoming match.
