we have drawn the second match 0-0 although we had lost first leg match by 7- 0 but in todays match we have drawn the match although iraqi best player younis mehmood and extra all were playing but we have proved that we can imporve our football as well
great work by our new goal keeper iltaf who plays in england he proves to be much much better then shehzad who played in first leg
great work pakistan , although we havn’t qualify for worldcup due to first match loss but atleast this is good for us

lets not get carried away, iraq did not have to really try, had Pakistan beaten them by more than 7 goals then you have seen them get in top gear.
Iraq was winning when they stepped on the pitch, and they were winning every minute of the game, whether they scored zero goals or 20 it would have made no difference.
The goalie diff as you note probably was a big factor also, but just realize Iraq started the first leg of the game to win, and they basically just wanted to pass teh time in the second leg.

why?.. the motive? they had won already..they were 7 goals ahead..
it is the composite score of the two matches that determines who advances.
so Iraq had already scored 7 goals in the first leg. they did not need to score a single goal here to advance, as a matter of fact Pakistan could have even scored a few goals and it would not have mattered.
so they did not have to score goals to win the second leg, most of teh times in situations like these managera actually rest their key players and put in a B team for those guys to et experience. I have not looked at the line up yet so dont know if that is what Iraq did.
the biggest factor was yasir sabir (defender of Pakistan in first match ) who did horrible defending and the goal keeper as well
just see the second match , iraq was in full flow but Pakistan had done really well
see the both recorded matches and tactically analyse you will understand , iraq was playing with full strength and they were willing to score as many as possible , specially see the second half
