Football is a sport of poor people in Pakistan. There are thousands of players of this sport in Pakistan. Every village in Karachi has its own football club. Same is the case in other parts of Makran and Balouchistan as well as other rural areas of the country.

the approach is stupid, pluck some pakistani origin players from Uk and expect them to win the game for the country. team work bhi koiu cheez hoti hai. for decades italy sytruggled as its coaches and managers failed to make a collection of worlds best players work as a team.
Pakistan's team sis so bad that forget iraq some second division club from italy or holland or england could beat them.
there has to be an organized approach towards the sport. its not the fault of the players, unless u see them slacking, but the whole system, u can put someone with the talent of pele in the team and it will not make a major difference.

If we want to do anything in football, we need to invest in some 200 kids of the ages 6-10 now(good health kids), train them here and abroad, educate them side by side, then we will have a good team in early 20s.
