yaar PC, Pak football team at one time was very good. I remember in 1989 olympics they beat a real good team. I dont remember which one and won a gold medal!

Believe it or not what I am saying is true. We were an under dog in that game in 1989. I think it was India. I was in Jinnah Stadium Islamabad and I witnessed that match myself!
Harr baat parr Pakistan ki izzat karnaa choro yaar! thats our problem, we under estimate the potential Pakistan and our people and such pessimism is leading to what we are right now!

According to the FIFA (soccer’s world governning body) rankings, out of 203 member countries, Pakistan is ranked 191.
Probably the “Olympics of 1989” u are talking about were the SAF games in which minnows like Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and India compete, and beating these countries ain’t a big deal in the world of soccer!..the bottom line is Pakistan sux in soccer!
