A sweet young thing took her seat on opening day of her college class.
The young man behind her tapped her on the shoulder and said, “What are you doing, wearing a football jersey?”
She replied, “Why, I bought it and own it, why shouldn’t I wear it?”
He said, “You’re not supposed to wear it unless you’ve made the team.”
“Oh,” she replied sweetly, “Who did I miss?”

Today wasn’t alot better cause of my cold. I didn’t sleep more than 2 hours last night cuz I froze and my nose was stuffy. We went into Mt. View. All I got was an Arkansas Razorback football jersy and a magazine and a book of stamps. We ate at the new Kentucky Fried chicken. This cold is killing me! I wish it would have come during school instead of now. Dad bought a small electric heater that didn’t work too well. So then, him and mom went back into town and got a Coleman camper heater. It works much better. Oh yeah, we found a little black & white kitten. It’s real scrawny. I named her Nanu, Nanu. We can’t take her home because we brought the car, not the truck. Oh well. L.G. is keeping his horse, “Nggr” on our property. We went up and fed it an apple. It’s a real nice horse. Unfortunate name.
