Sometime, janitor of our floor leaves the janitor closet door unlocked and it has a utility sink. so its easy for me to wash my feet.
Other days, I wait for the Men’s room crowd to die down, around 2:30 PM so I can put my foot in the sink
Last and most undesirable is the time when I finish everything at sink and fill up a water bottle and go inside a stall and wash my feet over the commode
So how do you do that
Specially if you work at Shopping mall or at school during prayer time
I know that I can wear Leather socks (per Hanafi Fiqh) but its not very comfortable for me
you take a clean damp wipe and you wipe you feet with water three times with that wipe. an clean your feet.
Best,
Dushwari
i second that.
otherwise chachu go office with the washed-cleaned feet n socks, so while u r doing ur wuzu do the light masa (slightly run ur wet hands over the socks u wearing).

Done that dude!
At a previous workplace...manager walked in with my foot in the sink..i just happily carried on...could see him looking out of the corner of his eyes!
You got to do what you got to do!
I think its better to enlighten our colleagues about the prayers and wazoo, it helps us... I did tell to my colleagues and Chief, and they all know it already and no worries for me really... but I avoid washing feet in front of people who not know me...
You dont need a foot in the sink. 1400 years ago there was no sink. There wasnt always water either. You can do half wudoo too. Foot in the sink and all the splish splash of water all over the area messes up the bathroom.
Everywhere i have been, university, work etc this has been a major problem for janitors. If this was in a muslim institution then thats fine, but when we're on someone else's property we have to respect it and keep it tidy so that the people incharge do not get offended.
I agree with dushwari, run a damp cloth. Or wet your hand and run it through your foot with your leg slightly raised. Foot in the sink is by no means necessary.
The conversation is turning more religious then expexcted. Well, its upto Mods to decide whether to leave it here or move to religion
I dont think that light Massah of feet is really an option. You are not suppose to leave (per Hanafi fiqh) even a patch of skin as wide as hair, un damped. Massah will definatley leave the skin beween fingers, dry
I don't have the facilities to pray at work but at school we used the WC wash-basins and then made sure to mop up using tissue after ourselves so we're not giving Muslims a bad rep.
I know a school in USA with majority Muslim students recently installed footbaths in the WC and the Islam-Haters were going absoloutley balistic oozing with vemon on other websites about how Muslims are a threat to their way of life and how they should assimilate.. So we Muslims should keep it on the low and not request too much or people will just look for an excuse to hate us more.
One of the Imams said we could do masah *(wipe) over the top of the feet if wearing socks since the last time we performed ablution, most scholars of the Hanafi school say the socks have to be leather for the ablution to be valid with *masah, others allow it on regular socks so long as there's no major holes in them and they're not transparent.
All those who are runing a wet hand over regular sock, or over bare foot, check with your Imam sahib. That may not be right
Brother I have been thinking over it for a long time. Even today I was wondering the same while I was doing wudhu in my office washroom.
Someone told me that according to one SOT if you wash your feet in the morning when you perform your first wudhu, after that you may do "Masaa" ( puting wet hand over socks) if you feel that washing might be difficult, as wearing socks over wet feet might cause foot rod.
IF I have time I wash and then wait for my feet to get dry or use towel, otherwise if I have limited time, I do masaa.
Does anyone has any source to share on this matter.
