ok so what kind of food you guys take to picnics?

desi or walaiti?

BBQ or Biryani?

I prefer to take dry meal like Vegitable sandwiches, Pizza etc and some cold drinks. boiled water with milk powder & Tea Bags for tea.

Bread, cheese, water, and chocolate. We have trekked through many a country on those four things, it's wonderful!

anything that's easy to carry out, shoud be ok ..........i prefer not more than 2-3 kinds of cooked items +/ - packed snacks & drinks . i suggest that in order to have burgers or sandwiches or hotdogs take all the ingredients with u like bread , cheese slices , chicken pattis or kabab and make them into sandwich at the picnic , serve them with salad + snacks + fruits etc................i avoid desi meals like biryani & stuff b/c it tastes good only if served warm & how the heck r u gonna warm it @ picnic ??

[p.s: where is the picnic ?? :p]

when we friends (men ) go we mostly cook homade biryani and homade raita and soft drink. bus

i prefer desi food but valiety is made easily and quickly.

Kebabs in bread rolls with plenty of chilli and garlic sauce
Chane chatpatee
Fried Khowse
Spicy chicken quiche (this is one of our favourites!!!)
Samosa
Spring rolls

When we go for a picnic there's always about 20 of us including kids so we all try to make a bit of everything.....

Feels like we spend most of our time eating whenever we go for days out!!!!

kabab sandwiches..pasta salad...lots of fruit..garden salad....bbq...more kababs...chips..chai..lots!
