My dad believes in this ' thanda/ garam taseer' concept. He always said dont eat eggs or peanuts in summer because they are 'garam'. If you look at the amount of egg and peanut allergies kids have these days, maybe there is some logic to this. We were also told about this fish and milk myth, and the disease you mentioned is called ' vitiligo' in english I think. Aren't there some french fish dishes which have milk and cream in them? So I dont know how true that is. A friend mentioned recently that the fish in question is only found in the sub continent, which causes the vitiligo..it does not apply to any fish found in the west. Dont know if thats the explanation. People have fish burgers and milkshakes together and that does not do anything.....

Ok so this isn't a "food" myth but I was just curious...will sleeping on two pillows give one a double chin?!

I don't think it's a myth. People do get this disease if they drink milk after eating fish.

It would definitely give you wrinkles on the neck, if not anything else.
