food recepies when u r on diet...?

i wanna u galz to share with me all those recepies when u cook during dieting…as i have herad to cut off ROTI n just add boiled rice…(i dont know exactly wat to do)..now im avoiding the roti n just taking brown bread slice 2 in whole day…1 in breakfast or in lunch n 1 in dinner with salad,yogurt,daal or any routine salan..now i wanna try something new or intersting bcuz daily apples,yougurt,bread making me boreeee…so wat would u share with me?

Horizon, the key is moderation. Roti and rice are both carbohydrates and are staples of the desi diet. BUT, roti is LESS fattening than rice.

Don't skip roti altogether. Just make healthier choices. For example, don't go for rotis that are made from white flour/maida such as naan. Instead, eat a small chapati once a day (either for lunch or dinner). As long as the roti is made from whole wheat flour (aata), it is healthier.

As far as rice is concerned, brown rice is better. It's less fattening and more nutritious than white rice.

Either barley or oatmeal porridge works best to reduce weight. use cold milk and add lots of fruit in it to make it more filling. Use this for breakfast as well as dinner.
