I wish someone other than Pakistanis would actually fly PIA. and its not a Gora issue I hated Swiss their food is crap and service is so so, I also hate Virgin Atlantic now, they used to be great but are big jerks now and a big jip. When I fork over money to fly I want good service and I don't care if you are gora kala or neela, you are there to serve me damn it!

shop online i have no idea why you have not seen gore travelling with PIA but i have seen them many times from dubai to lahore or kuwait to lahore flights..

I guess my runon made it difficult to understand. I mean that I don't care if an airline is run by Gora's I have critizied them too... like someone had suggested we were only critisizing PIA but not other airlines.
I haven't really seen a lot of non-Pakistanis on PIA and I think its a good airline with a really young fleet of planes so if people are using it alot than its a good thing! I just ment that it'd be nice if they improved their customer service so a lot more people would use it. The quality is definately international level, just the people (mostly flight attendents) are not.

PIA has very decent food. Infact, even the service is not bad. Like someone said earlier, we expect PIA to pamper us but we won't have the same expectation from other foreign airlines, we'll ignore it simply as "feasibility and you get what you pay for". I've flown PIA's new T7 and it's a superb machine. The food is served hot and often.

I'll go PIA again, because most ppl use the airline of the country to which they're traveling. If i was going to UK, i'd take BA. And so on...

I agree with zobia that most expat Pakistani traverlers are na-shukrey people. They get shortest flight time , they get good food but they still find excuse to complain !
They ask us to fold blanket !
What ? Are you some kind of a prince or princes that you cant just help your hosts who served you 12, 16 hours by just folding the blanket you used.

i never eat food from on a plane. they all disguest me. even the finest one. i hate food in the plane. i either take some snacks along wit me , or just eat porperly at the airport restaurants if i have a stop or something. other den dat ye apia food isnt so bad by its looks.

I had always tried to travel PIA in the past, because despite the flaws, I thought this $1400-1700 I paid would be beneficial to our country, especially considering how the airline isnt doing too well.
The food is excellent cant complain. Credit goes to PIA and the catering services they use. I've found the male flight attendants to be really polite, courteous whereas the opp goes for the female ones. This is mostly so because a lot of them are old and because of a Zia era rule, all the young flight attendants were fired and the old ones that joined back then now as still working and have no plans on paving way for the new ones. Another problem, though not really PIA's fault is that after 4-5 hours the toilets become extremely dirty mostly because of the people who use them. They should also make a better effort to seat families and single people seperatley as even though i sympathize with parents who have young ones, its justn to tolerate an infact crying straight for a 16 hour journey.

Sticking to the topic the food on PIA seems to be plenty and looks nice as well (dont like airline food) But the service of Etihad, the food...the comfort was the best! The cute steward even out my eye-drops for me blush
Conclusion: people always prefer to travel in the airlines of their respective countries or country of origin and hardly say anything wrong about it ( eg; air-india, british-air, turkish etc ) but when it comes to PIA & pakistanis… ohhh never mind:snooty:

pia food is pretty good overall.
there service is good. the stweards are really sweet and more patient than the stweardessess but you can't really blame the latter either. they must be tired everyone ringing them up. the mums with their little bratty kids always bugging them for one thing or another and then the long flights.
the entertainment and intezam for it is good. you can watch movies listen to songs. i listen to the ghazals and checj out the beautiful view as i always sit window side.
overall nice experience. no complaints.
