Once in a while, I’ll go through a grilled-cheese sandwich phase…where I’ll have that several times a week. And then eventually I tire of it, lol. And sometimes there are certain foods that I get temporarily turned off from. Like keema…or karelay…I may avoid them for a while at later point.
Is anybody else like this?
What are some food phases you go through or have been through?
Which types of food do you crave most often? (it’s pasta and chocolate for me, lol)
*there is a study done about this phenomenon and the findings were published in an american journal of food sciences. according to this study, human body is designed in such a way that it demands certain foods in the form of cravings. if u body is low on certain chemicals, u feel craving for the food that contains those chemicals. isn't that great? its like a built-in food regulator :D

I have actually read about that. And, I find it fascinating. The are theories that we'll crave foods based on nutritional deficiencies and also sometimes if we're low in certain chemicals like seratonin (a decrease in which can lead to depression)...so your body might seek those foods that help to recharge that. It's interesting.
since I am not big on eating , I usually have my phases with drinks ... I get stuck with saunf in the chai for a good few months , then get bored of it and start with lemon tea , then get bored of it .. and so on ...
Im quite a foodie!! .. :D but i think Im always craving for chocolate and mountain dew! I know weird combination!
I do go through food phases too .. like haleem, maggi, masala fries and aalo keema!!
I can eat them for weeks .. and then all of a sudden! I woudnt even want to touch them!! :(
I dont know why i got so badly reminded of Nestle cream .. I used to eat a can of it every day .. cheeni daal ki .. and now its been over five years since I last had one , coz we dont get them here
