Hey.. i’m going to Ottawa/ Montreal/ Quebec city next week..

Where can I get proper food to eat… I"m tired of Mcdonads/Burger king when i travel.. I’m told Montreal has an arab area where I can get Halal stuff but what about Ottawa/ Quebec City

If I could get street names and parts of city I should head for to get some selection.. thx..

You wont have any problem finding Arab food shops in Montreal or Quebec city, if in doubt stop around taxi stand & ask any algerian/lebanese & he will tell u (may be in french :) )

There r some good Indian restaurant in the back side of catherine street..

yes.. just got back from quebec.. lots of lebanese swarma/falafel places in ottawa and montreal.. the indian restaurants dont know if they were halal as depends if the owner is muslim or not with most indian restuarants.. they have a chain in montreal called 'amirs' which the food was good.. never did find this 'park extension'.. maybe next time..

Montreal is known for it's fine dining. There are so many great restaurants besides the filthy desi ones.
