Re: Food ideas

Re: Food ideas

^ Bake some tilapia with veggies. Really simple and easy and DELICIOUS. Throw on some yogurt, crushed tomatoes, or lemon juice to flavor. And whatever spices you like.

Re: Food ideas

You could make some yummy balsamic salmon... all you have to do is season both sides with pepper, garlic powder, kosher salt.. and place it on a foil lined baking sheet. While you're doing that, make the glaze. Put like 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, a little bit more than 2 tsps of honey, and 1 1/2 tsp of mustard.. let it boil and tehn simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the glaze to the baking filets and broil it. It shouldnt take any longer than 10 minutes.

Then you're going to have to be disciplined about thawing and marinating it before you leave in the mornings or the night before so that it can be quickly baked/fried/etc when you come home in the evenings.

Or order in :D

Re: Food ideas

How about chunky lemon chicken? It's very easy and quick to make and equally delicious! I have a recipe for it somewhere.. if you're interested I could find it for you...

Re: Food ideas

Ok I found the recipe in case you or anyone else is interested!

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice Method

Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Add chicken and coat with flour mixture. Cook in olive oil until chicken is fully cooked and lightly browned. Add garlic and cook another 1-2 minutes, then add lemon juice and cook 1 minute longer. Serve with rice pilaf or your favorite rice.

Re: Food ideas

Well, i would suggest some grilled chicken pieces, shami kababs (chicken or mutton) and off course some desi salads like Raita of the veggies you like. At least one vegetable is very good to take with meal.
Bake some brownies at home. That is again good to take alongwith tea.
ya forget to tell u the easiest way. The left overs like maas daal, keema or some chicken pieces, just put them alongwith bread in sandwich maker. This is the easiest way to do a quick breakfast and it tastes excellent and no odours.
