Re: Food cravings and gender

I was told that I was having a boy because I craved kababs but then again I have always loved kababs so no biggie.. I didnt crave much sweets except the last few months of pregnancy!!

But I did eat a lot of carrots and cherries.. I cant even look at those two now but I had to have them everyday during pregnancy!!!

Re: Food cravings and gender

I have heard a sweets craving is a boy and a sour/salty craving is a girl. But then again, there are people who have the opposite, so I dont think there is any hard or fast rule.

Re: Food cravings and gender

i craved blood oranges by the dozen in my last trimester. with a pinch of salt, mmmm... so good. i was eating 4 or 5 a day at the height of the craving.
not sure if it meant boy or girl but thats what i craved and i had a boy.

Re: Food cravings and gender

i had zero craving for khatta last pregnancy and this pregnancy I was craving imli kee chutney like none other. And both times I craved good food, fruits and salads. No junk food, actually have been turned off of junk food. Even my samosas I want baked...hehehe...

Re: Food cravings and gender

I don't know what my cravings are, really. I eat weird things...I had watermelon with nacho cheese. And i thought it was mind-blowingly good. So yeah, maybe later on.

Re: Food cravings and gender

^ ew watermelon and nacho cheese?? :p
pregnancy cravings are weird lol

Re: Food cravings and gender

I never had any strong cravings for anything.Except for the fact that I liked everything a lil on the spicier side, especially in the first trimester. There were times when I used to chop up tomoatoes and put lots of chaat masala on them and eat them.I cannot bring myslef to eat it again. They are not even yummy...!!...

Re: Food cravings and gender

my bhabi used to crave cheese. She used to eat whole blocks of cheese in one sitting!

Re: Food cravings and gender

My chachi used to eat mitti in fistfuls in all of her pregnancies.

Another weird thing is that for my first pregnancy I used to crave salt that comes from walls. Like when you go to the pinds, the place where the paint is coming off there is soft salt I used to crave that salt but sadly I couldn't find it anywhere. Normal salt just wouldn't do it for me.

Re: Food cravings and gender

^ mitti?? like sand??????

also, yes. wall salt. its probably a good thing you didn't find any!
