Once I bought a packet of chana choor ( roasted flattened spicy chick peas) for my own snacking , I warmed it up in microwave oven and took them to the project war room , it was mid morning so everybody was a little hungry the aroma of those chana choor tempted everybody , so I invited the whole project team to dig in .
Wow it became an instant sensation. They love it and asked me bring many packets.
I have fed samosay , pakoray , biryani , tandoori chicken , poola-o , even tori gosht to my goray co-workers and friends .
My kids goray friends love the hot and spicy food at our home, they will drink lot of soda or juice with it but will keep on digging in although we make sure that we have some non spicy foods on the table but most popular are hot and spicy ones.

The regular stuff like samosas, pakoras, kebabs, pulao, biryani, haleem, nihari etc etc but one memory that stands out is when, years ago, one of our friends and his wife came over for dinner.... a couple of days before the dinner, he requested that he wanted to try out Mr Maroush's paaye dish, since i was always going on about it....so we served it (amongst other things) at the dinner and both he and his wife loved it!! After that day, we were under strict orders that if we made it again, we had to send them some. :D
project war room, isn't that just like when they lock the jurors up to make a decision and they cant come out!! :( I have been therre, at that point you give them anything they will eat it :)
But yeah my friends like pretty much anything that is good, but especially Chicken Biryani, Channa Masala, tandoori chicken, saag paneer and they also love samosay.
Samosas - qeema and aloo
Aloo tikkis
Shami kababs with parathay - one of my co-workers had his with sour cream and salsa!
Biryani
Pulao
Saag Paneer
Matar Paneer
Chicken Makhni with parathay
Chicken qorma with roti
And many more...just cant remember them right now.
We at our work place feed biryani to all our friends from abroad (including goras) they are just sooo fond of it. they even get it packed and take it to their country :D one of our Japanese guest was soo found of keema paratha and seekh kabab, he used to have breakfast of qeema paratha everyday when he was here.
^ I heard they do that in karachi (not sure about lahore) the dukaan wala will pack it in a special tiffin that u can take back to ur country. My jethani brought beef nihari from karachi on her last trip :D
when i was a kid, at my school's annual summer gala, one of my mums' mates would have a stall on selling pakoray, samosay, chawal and chaat. her stall was always very popular.
my mum has given food to our goray neighbours many times, mainly chawal, and they are always really happy lol.
