Well..some people in my mom's side do not fast. And when they come....my mom still serves them tea.

Muslims should be hospitable. If he was the only guest, I don't think there's anything wrong in serving him simple refreshments. If he was accompanied by other guests who are fasting, they "might" feel burdened by the temptation of food being served....but I think most of us are strong enough to endure n not let it overwhelm us.....we see our coworkers eating....maybe a family member who is not fasting eats in front of us.....or food on tv, etc.....but again most of us can handle it.

Sure you can serve him. but only after taking him on a guilt trip about it ![]()
Re: food and ramadan!
RV: its not about tamptation. we all are grown ups. its about what should we do in these kind of situations. because i remember when i was little my mom would never let me eat infront of anyone. we used to eat in kitchen. wo b chup k. so i was wondering what has islam say about it.
wont he get embressed eating in front of all the people. :O. my aunty told me that he does not fast. but i didnt ask him if he want anything. it was kinda odd.
