The other day on NPR there was news analysis in which they were talking about how the law enforcement authorities catch criminals with illegal money in their cars which , some percentage of which goes to the department.
A police person said that he looks for guys who are going at the speed limit, according to his theory everybody who is a normal human being will be going 5,10 ,15 miles above the speed limit, but a drug dealer will be following the speed limit . Lo kar lo gull . aur chala-o gari speed limit pay. What a crack pot this guy is. So now I have to break the law to be a law abiding citizen ?

^The police officer's stance makes perfect sense. You have drug on you and that means jail time. If you go over speed limit, you are more likely to get caught. And due to psychological effects, druggy will go at the speed limit. Nervousness, perhaps.

but seriously all boils down to traffic flow. If everyone around you is going over by 10, you are not going to get caught.. so yeah.

This is just the theory , so many friends have told me that they were going with the flow of traffic but they got ticketed for over speeding. Cops can target one single car out of the flow of traffic and will issue a ticket. There is nothing against it in the books of law. Yes you have less chance of getting a ticket when you are following the flow but still you can get a ticket so don't count on that theory please.
