Re: Followers of Hindu philosophy
I'm interested in finding out how many have given up their previous beliefs and have embraced the philosophy of Hinduism where the new followers worship God in the same manner as Hindus do and take part in Hindu rituals and celebrations.
In your question you are trying to define Hinduism don't do that........ than you wont' get the answer, you are seaking......... I haven't been to temple for 20 years........ I believe in power of mediation ( Nirakar Brahm)......
As I said earlier... ISCKON is one example... They believe in Krishha and Krishna Janmashtmi is big for them....... as well Holi is big at ISCKON..
Come to "Art of Living Centers", its all about Bhajan and songs......... 12Lakh people came to Bangalore for annual day, atleast 20% of them were people from other faith..
The mediation mission I believe in has around 20Lakh people and out of them atleast 2-3000, are Muslims, and atleast 2 Lakh are from outside India (Non-Hindus)...
Come to major places of Hindu bliefs and see how many foreigners are there staying for years, just to get peace and understand this philosphy...
