Well i was just watching the Ashes, the last test and England had to avoid follow on by making another 33runs on the 4th day[a deficit of 200runs], can any1 tell me what is the deficit for a follow on, as Pakistan were allowed to trail by 150 runs to avoid follow on, y was that???

Follow on is normally when the difference between the two teams is 200 runs, or more after the first innings. In case of pakistan that target was increased to 150 because one day had been lost due to rain.
