It's not a great place in terms of luxury buildings and clean streets but it does have a culture and it's not dull or boring. I love the food places in B'ham.
And now it's become probably one of the safest towns for muslims in UK.

I beg to differ!
Birmingham is the most exciting city centres in the UK. Just google their projects such as "grand central station", "Mega john lewis" , "snow hill canary warf", City centre tram etc
