This is Religion forum on GUPSHUP (www.pak.org). I am sure all of you know these two basic facts but sometimes get carried away in your assumption that there is a freedom of expression here. No there is not. Let me make it very clear. This forum is created in the name of Pakistan and Islam. If you don’t like it, you can leave.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a space for our members to discuss, provide opinions and ask questions on religions issues. This includes Islam, chritianity, hinduism, buddhism and what have you. I took over this forum in March and in the last three months I have noticed, that most members can carry out intelligent discussions on religious topics without much problem. Some members are an exception.
Let me repeat for them. If your sole purpose of participating here is to trash a religion - whether its Islam, Ahmadiyyat, hinduism, or whatever, this is not the place. Take your hate-filled comments and your intellectual superiority some place else. We won’t miss you. All threads which are started for the sole purpose of hate-mongering will be summararily closed/deleted without any explanation. This policy is effective - right now.
There are atleat five active threads completely dedicated to trashing Ahmedi muslim religion. I admire that rules are being followed. Keep up the good work.

As one of the co-Mods for this Forum, let me clarify it is NOT permitted to "trash" Ahmadis. We are attempting to permit discussions on different issues that Guppies may wish to discuss; where and when the Moderators observe derogatory remarks against any belief or religion, we strive to edit them out. I acknowledge we certainly do not always succeed. But I can safely say that the attempt at being fair IS there and we try our best to make this Forum accessible for all viewpoints, however different.
If anyone sees a post/thread that s/he believes is derogatory towards another individual's belief, by all means please feel welcome to PM the Moderator(s) to notify us.

How come you left out Wahabism, Shiaism, and a few other isms, but you particularly took pains to note “Ahmadiyat”, along with Islam. Are you suggesting that Ahmadis are separate from Islam? I think writing policies is not something that come naturally to you. You don’t need to single out specifics, just state that no bullcrap is allowed. But good first effort on your part, nonetheless.

While looking around the filthy langauge in the Corner Room, then in General and then the dual meaningful sentences all over here in this board, I fail to understand why other forums are not created in the name of Islam?

^ I agreed on both you n Faisal, thats true there should be more restriction on foul languages, and the mocker of Islam should be banned as I had mentioned one post yesterday to Faisal, and he did deleted, deletion is indeed a solution but repeataed action should result in banning, hope to have a clean site :k:
I think Faisal was talking about Islam of Pakistan and there, a lot of Muslims think it is fun to use profane language and I just experienced it a few minutes ago!

There are several other threads open for that precise purpose and I strongly urge you to post your comments there. Please leave this thread free of the ‘sectarian’ comments; it is solely meant to serve as a discussion area for rules and policies.
