In folk stories, there are many issues that can be subject to advice in life1.

There are SIL issue with Sohni (her nanand put a kacha ghaRa in place of pakka one resulting her drowning) :frowning:

Dever/ Jeth issue with Sassi ( Khasma nu khane took Punhoo in night and Sassi had to wander in desert in search of Punhoo) :aj:

There was even uncle issue with Heer ( naas pitta kedoo had a khuda waste ka bair with kuRi Heer).

What would these people have done to avoid these miseries from their relatives?

Was Sohni aware that she is being followed? if she knew that, she might have stopped meeting Mehwal for sometime or thought about a new and safe dating point.

Sassi was in emergency.. Ishq ki be-qarari main kahan intezar hota hai? I think there should have been some preventive measures by her.

breaking Kaidus other taang would be a police case , aur Punjab ki police se Allah hi bachae :stuck_out_tongue:
