So yeah what is your opinion on this kind of marriage. I think the cross b/w FOB and ABCD is not given too much consideration by either FOBs or ABCDs.

I think it is better to look at the person that you will marry as an individual rather than to generalise over labels.

those who are half FOB and Half ABCD... lol
this cross breed just becomes either one of the classifications. if the cross breed is living abroad then he/she becomes a abcd and if living in pak pretty much becomes a fob

well lusi as far as i know kids born to such parents (one FOB other ABCD) r getting married among ABCDs & FOBs equally and i haven't came across any bad experience as yet, in fact i've seen that FOBs and esp their families r in pakistan r more willing to get hooked up to someone abroad whatsoever classification he / she belongs

also lusi i believe that for an FOB guy (if) to get married to an ABCD + settle down in her country + find a nice job or persue a career is more challenging compare to it's vice versa

If I were to marry...it would be a cross breed. Im an ABCD and I find it hard to relate to total FOBS sometimes and also to complete ABCD's as well. He would have to be a cross breed for me.

If ure marrying a fob, make sure to get plenty of deodrant in your jahaiz!

Wouldn't that depend on the age of the FOB guy like those who are in early 20s (20-25ish) wouldn't have all that hard time compared to those who are in late 20s. Also I think same would be true for girls moving back home, especially the ones who are quite independent.

depends on where their first half of life was spent. that is what makes them. 1st half abroad(abcd/bbcd) and 1st half in pak= FOB

Like some people said depends on the type of person.
I know this sikh guy who told me that he married a girl from back home because they are easy to control and will stay home and take care of kids. He said that marrying a girl from abroad would want to go out, work, and it would be hard on the kids.
I diasgreed with him.

Kuch log yahan pe adjust ho pate hein aur kuch ke liye itna asaan nahin hota. Total ABCD’s are hard for me because most of the guys I run into that are born here and raised here are into partying and whatnot. Their lifestyle is different.
So, maybe a guy with an blue passport but green birth certificate? I dont know…he would have to be someone who doesnt have a hard time making the transition.

Of course they do! Ive got 2 brother-in-laws, both are FOBs and my sisters are ABCDs. It can work if the guy is type that can be open to change. He cant be here and stuck in Pakistan which does happen sometimes.
