I am sure I have seen threads about this but can’t look for them. Any advice?
Can you take baby milk on board with you? Also where do you change nappies?

Re: Flying with a baby
Just a few of those threads. You will find useful info in all of them.
To answer the questions in your original post, yes, you can take baby milk/formula and you can change diapers in the lavatories. They have changing tables built into one of the wall and you just open it and use it.
Re: Flying with a baby
flying with a baby? on a magical flying carpet?
hehe
Chips has done a great job to dig out all the related threads. if you need my advice, you got to wait for at last 5 years, iA ![]()

Thanks chips.
KKF it is now or never. Dreading the journey though.
Re: Flying with a baby
aaaaaaaawwwwwwwww…take it easy…it will be an OK journey if not ideal.
actually, i’ve seen so many parents taking turn to take care of the baby during long flights. tbh, women do a little more than the man.
not fair though!
Re: Flying with a baby
babies are the best to fly with.. We took our son to Pakistan at 3 months, it was a breeze! then we took him to TX (6 hours flight) when he was 15 months old and it was a different story.. he wanted to walk around, see people, not sleep.. baby over a toddler anytime ![]()
Re: Flying with a baby
i second the comment above about it being easier to fly with young babies than older ones or toddlers (or some adults). just stay calm and dont stress out. the cabin crew will be mindful of your needs for warm water for formula, help with bathroom, diaper changes etc. after all, happy baby = happy everyone around.
Re: Flying with a baby
Is it possible to take pumped milk on board?
Has anyone managed to breast feed on board?
Just went thru the other threads and have got even more worried. I had forgotten about the getting ill part esp babies.
Re: Flying with a baby
How old is your baby,OP?
Like others said it is very easy to be with a baby on a plane and be in another country too.
Also not sure where you are flying out of,but if you check the TSA website,it states you can easily carry breast milk/formula etc for baby.
Re: Flying with a baby
Baby is just under 8 months
Re: Flying with a baby
I have travelled many times overseas with toddler n infants. Last time i travelled from washimgton dc to saudi arabia via etihad (stop at abu dhabi) with a four years old, one little under two n a one month old. It was fine i did breastfeed my newborn during flight so easy. Only trouble maker was two years old hated the seat belt. Crew members n other passengers were super nice n helping. Only problem that i had was etihad didnt give us all seats together ( i didnt know this can happen) n their policy is to talk urself with others to change ur seat n some passengers didnt want to change their seats in the end everything went fine. On my way to saudi arabiay mom was withe but on my return i was all alone with three kids.

^ brave lady!
Re: Flying with a baby
That is indeed brave!
A question…was there any other adult traveling with you?I have known that airlines do not let one adult passenger travel with two kids who are under 2 years of age,at the same time (kids older than 2 years are not an issue).I once checked Etihad’s website and with one adult passenger they just let you travel with 1 kid under two years old and 2 older kids (2 year plus).Did you face any such issues?
Re: Flying with a baby
You are right but in that case they make one of the kid travel as adult so you have to pay for the seat for that child just like above two, so my four years old and two years old both had seats. It is because you cant put two kids in lap when seat belt signs are on…you need to have separate seat for one of them
Re: Flying with a baby
^^Oh ok.Thanks.I was just curious…![]()
