really? wow! you are one heck of a lucky guy.
the problem is the mountain around the airport. the airport is surrounded by tall mountains. the plane has to maintain a certain speed to clear the mountain tops and then the steep slope makes the plane pick up more speed while descending and that’s the problem. it’s better to go around between the valleys.
same problem exists at Leh airport.
