Fluidline ...

eyeliner from mac. i bought it 2 months back and have used it for like 3-4 times max but i think its oil drained out somehow so now the application is nt smooth, what can i do about it? or do i just have to get a replacement?

Re: Fluidline ...

There have been other thread about this but you can add in some visine drops or contact solution. Also, always keep it tightly closed and store it upside down. I've had mine for over 6 months and they still are smooth and soft as ever. I store mine upside down.

Oh dear; another case of 'dry gel liner syndrome' :(

Would this work? Hmm i m scared it might ruin it. Hmmm.

Re: Fluidline ...

I did the thing where you boil some water, let it cool a bit and then put it in a container that you can close and drop your fluidline in. When you remove the fluidline, don't open it and let it cool. When you then open it, you should be able to see that it melted and re-set and should be creamy again.

Re: Fluidline …

This guy knows what he’s talking about:

I’m going to try this. All you need is glycerine, water and a clear face primer. If you heat it up with a hair dryer or whatever, it wouldn’t take very long for it to harden again. Using the above method, you’re fixing the actual formulation, not just the texture of the gel liner so it would stay creamy for much much longer.

Re: Fluidline ...

i dnt have a primer :(

Re: Fluidline ...

^ Get the ELF one. It's like $6. It is clear and silicone-based which is what you need.

Re: Fluidline ...

I dnt know whether i wl be able to find the elf one here but i guess i wl try to find one with the above mentioned specs, shud do! thanx.
