Did any one read yesterday’s WSJ op-ed piece on this. It was so funny to see an administration that is deeply behind the “intelligent design” theory using “evolutionary” thesis of natural selection and mutation to establish the impending jump of the virus form bird to humans. 
Apparently, God has nothing to do with viruses. It is siht like this which makes me want to slap scripture monkeys.

You either accept the scientific process or not...such jackass's, but not surprising as we have a President who nominates a woman to the Supream Court based off her religion.

^ PCG, I think it can. Infact a lot of diseases have mutated that way. TB, AIDS etc. I am laughing at the terminology and science used by scripture thumping morons to lay a foundation for their response to such diseases which are in direct conflict with everything they believe in. Something UTD has pointed out.
Jumping species is a highly complex phenomenon which has been documented and empirically substantiated by evolutionists. To simplify it by saying.."dunno..God works in mysterious ways" is fking simplistically stupid for a complex system under which such transmissions take place. They have no answer as to how it jumps, document the mutation etc etc etc...evolutionists do.
