Flora and fauna are an integral part of the culture. The poets use it in their imagination, common people use it in ideoms etc. etc.

I have two questions,

(1) Does KandErnaa (supposedly a cousin of porcupine/sEh but from the rat family still exist in Pakistan?

(2) Does Jund tree (famous from the Mirza+SahibaN kissa) still exist in Pakistan?

I hope I did not offend anyone with my green/conservationist views. But seriously, do we have anything happening in protecting our heritage in terms of endangered plants/trees or animals?
