cafe is called cafe for a reason…you said it yourself…it’s for “casual socializing”. in other words you arent talking about a topic in particular.
When you have a discussion with someone do you talk about random stuff or do you stick to a particular topic?

I always started my threads in General .. somehow they always ended up in CAFE.
Actully if you think of it , I might be the one who trained CAfeites, how make a comment and pass right message without using half a dozen smilies in every post

see what we’re doing right now is called flooding. you can’t ask generalites to flood. that’s like saying the moon’s made of cheese. (it isn’t folks). only a real authentic cafeite can flood properly 
now just move this thread to cafe so we can flood properly and have an explosion of smileys

What’s the difference between Cafe and General except for the vague descriptions on the main GS page…I can’t understand as my threads always get moved here and there. I don’t think even you guys know. All these different sections are just to employ MODs so people can exercise power and authority without any definition. Ha.
And what is the definition of flooding? I don’t see any rain…only lightening…
